Employee Relations Specialist

About the role

The Employee Relations Specialist will support and enhance the employee experience at HSBMA LLC’s new EV battery plant in Bartow County, Georgia. Working primarily on the day shift, you will act as a liaison between employees, supervisors, and management, helping to resolve workplace concerns and promote a positive, productive environment.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in resolving employee concerns, conflicts, and workplace issues in a fair and consistent manner.
• Conduct fact‑finding and support investigations under the guidance of the Employee Relations Manager.
• Coach supervisors and managers on corrective actions, performance management, and policy application.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and company policies across night‑shift operations.
• Educate employees and supervisors on policies, procedures, and expectations.
• Maintain accurate, confidential records of all employee‑relations activities.
• Serve as primary HR support for night‑shift workforce needs, including attendance and shift‑related issues.
• Support onboarding and training for night‑shift employees after day‑shift training is completed.
• Assist with HR reporting, documentation, audits, and collaboration with payroll, safety, benefits, and other HR functions.

Required profile

• Associate degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (Bachelor’s preferred).
• 2–3 years of experience in HR or employee relations.
• Strong knowledge of federal and state employment regulations.
• Excellent communication, investigative, and problem‑solving abilities.
