Employee Relations Specialist – Employee Engagement

About the role

Moog is seeking an Employee Relations Specialist to join its Employee Engagement Center of Excellence in Salt Lake City. In this hybrid role you will act as the primary HR partner for front‑line leaders, handling investigations, policy guidance, and performance support while also driving engagement initiatives that boost morale and satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the face of HR for front‑line managers and employees, providing day‑to‑day support.
• Conduct workplace investigations, advise on corrective actions, and ensure compliance with employment laws and company policies.
• Coach and guide managers on performance management, documentation, and conflict resolution.
• Develop and deliver policy education programs to ensure understanding and adherence.
• Measure employee engagement using tools and resources, analyze results, and recommend actionable improvements.
• Plan, organize, facilitate, and support employee engagement events, programs, and initiatives.
• Coordinate strategies to build line‑manager capability in HR functions such as counseling and communication.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree.
• Minimum five (5) years of progressive experience in employee relations, investigations, policy interpretation, or related HR functions.
• Current residence in the Salt Lake City area with ability to work on‑site (9/80 schedule).
• Willingness to travel at least once per quarter for remote site support.
