About the role
Applied Materials is a global leader in materials science and engineering solutions that underpin virtually every new semiconductor chip and advanced display. The Employee Relations Partner will support the organization by managing complex employee relations cases, investigations, and policy guidance while fostering a supportive work culture.
Key responsibilities
- Serve as the interface between COE, GEL, HRBPs and non‑HR functional departments to escalate and redirect inquiries.
- Manage end‑to‑end employee relations case management and investigations, maintaining accurate case files.
- Handle complex investigations related to retaliation, harassment, discrimination, and provide guidance on corrective actions.
- Advise HRBPs and managers on employee performance, conduct issues, and policy interpretation.
- Lead continuous‑improvement initiatives, track metrics, and report on case resolution performance.
Required profile
- 3+ years of employee relations experience, preferably with global HR exposure.
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- Demonstrated ability to lead investigations with minimal supervision.
- Knowledge of labor and employment laws, AAP/EEO, ADA, and I‑9 compliance.
