Employee Relations & Engagement Specialist

About the role

Moog is seeking an Employee Relations & Engagement Specialist to join its Employee Engagement Center of Excellence. Based in Cleveland, OH, you will act as the primary HR partner for front‑line leaders while also driving initiatives that boost employee morale and satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the face of HR and primary support for front‑line managers and employees.
• Conduct workplace investigations, advise on corrective actions, and ensure compliance with policies and employment laws.
• Coach and guide managers on policy interpretation, documentation, and conflict resolution.
• Measure employee engagement using tools and resources, recommend actions, and implement improvement plans.
• Educate staff on company policies and ensure understanding across sites.
• Plan, organize, facilitate, and support engagement programs, events, and initiatives.
• Coordinate strategies to develop line‑manager capability and support remote site initiatives.
• Travel between Highland Heights, Orrville, and other locations as needed.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree.
• Minimum five years of progressive experience in employee relations, including investigations, corrective actions, and policy interpretation.
• Ability to commute to Highland Heights, OH and Orrville, OH facilities and work onsite three days at Highland Heights and two days at Orrville each week.
• Willingness to travel for remote site support and corporate initiatives.
