About the role

We are seeking a compassionate Emergency Medicine physician to join a busy, low‑acuity Emergency Department serving the Monroe, Louisiana area. The position offers a relaxed schedule, generous PTO, and a supportive environment with direct access to leadership.

Key responsibilities

• Provide high‑quality care to 375‑400 patients per month, primarily urgent‑care and low‑acuity cases.
• Manage admissions and work relative value units (RVUs) for inpatient care.
• Collaborate with a strong mid‑level family NP team and hospital staff.
• Maintain compliance with hospital policies and state regulations.

Required profile

• Board Eligible or Board Certified in Emergency Medicine, Family Medicine, or related field.
• MD or DO degree; open to J‑1 and H‑1B visa candidates.
• Compassionate bedside manner with strong people skills.
