Emergency Department Registered Nurse

About the role

Join a Level 3 trauma center in Henderson, NV as an Emergency Department Registered Nurse. You will provide urgent care to patients with trauma, severe medical conditions, and psychiatric needs, working day or night shifts on a full‑time or part‑time basis.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the first line of defense for patients requiring urgent medical attention.
• Rapidly assess, prioritize, and treat trauma, injury, and critical medical conditions.
• Monitor patient vitals, administer medications, and operate advanced medical equipment.
• Participate in code blue and other emergency response situations.
• Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to develop and adjust care plans.
• Educate patients and families about conditions, treatments, and discharge plans.

Required profile

• Active, unencumbered RN license.
• ADN or higher degree in nursing.
• 1+ year experience in an emergency room setting (preferred).
• ACLS and PALS certifications (preferred).
• Strong critical‑thinking, problem‑solving, communication, and teamwork abilities.
