Emergency Department Paramedic

About the role

The Emergency Department Paramedic provides direct patient care across all age groups in a hospital setting, working under the supervision of a registered nurse or physician. This role supports Kingman Healthcare's vision of delivering kind, high‑quality health services.

Key responsibilities

• Performs as Paramedic in the Emergency Department.
• Participates in process improvement initiatives for the department.
• Delivers patient‑focused care to neonatal through geriatric populations.
• Engages in activities designed to improve health‑care delivery.
• Completes assigned goals and objectives.
• Maintains current licensure and certifications.

Required profile

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Current, valid EMCT Paramedic Certification in Arizona.
• At least one year of experience as a Paramedic.
• Previous hospital‑based experience (preferred).

Required skills

• Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certification (American Heart Association or Red Cross).
• PHTLS (Pre‑hospital Trauma Life Support) certification.
• Ability to operate standard office equipment such as phone, fax, and computer.
• Capability to assist moving adult patients up to 300 lb.
