Embedded Software Engineer - Core OS

About the role

Applied Intuition is seeking a senior embedded software engineer to join its Vehicle OS team. You will design and implement reliable software for next‑generation vehicle platforms, working on both low‑level communication and high‑level Android services.

Key responsibilities

• Architect, develop, and maintain highly reliable embedded software components.
• Integrate vendor hardware interfaces using protocols such as CAN, LIN, I2C, SPI, and UART.
• Implement real‑time operating system (RTOS) applications required for vehicle functionality.
• Drive development of custom in‑vehicle infotainment solutions.
• Apply best practices in embedded AOSP development, HAL customization, and Android middleware, ensuring security and maintainability.
• Develop and customize Linux‑based Android services, embedded services, and Android applications across multiple device versions.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to bring up software on new hardware, productionize it, and support ongoing product maintenance.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of experience developing software for embedded devices.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Strong background in embedded software development and low‑level hardware integration.
