About the role
The school is seeking a dedicated Elementary Classroom Teacher for Grade 2 for the 2026‑2027 academic year. This full‑time, 1.0 FTE position begins on August 31, 2026 and requires a probationary certification in Childhood Education (Grades 1‑6).
Key responsibilities
- Plan, deliver, and assess Grade 2 curriculum aligned with state standards.
- Create engaging lesson plans that support diverse learning needs.
- Maintain a safe, organized, and supportive classroom environment.
- Collaborate with fellow teachers, specialists, and administrators.
- Communicate regularly with parents and guardians about student progress.
Required profile
- Valid Childhood Education certification for Grades 1‑6 (probationary acceptable).
