About the role

Charter Schools USA is seeking an enthusiastic Elementary Elective Teacher to join its mission of “Relentless Commitment to Student Greatness in School and in Life.” The teacher will design and deliver a flexible elective program for elementary students, fostering both academic growth and personal development.

Key responsibilities

• Create and implement a flexible elective curriculum aligned with district guidelines.
• Develop and deliver lesson plans that engage diverse learners.
• Establish effective rapport with students, staff, and parents.
• Use diagnostic assessments to monitor student progress and adjust instruction.
• Maintain accurate student records and generate progress reports.
• Refer students with suspected learning challenges to appropriate support personnel.
• Assign, correct, and review student work and oral presentations.
• Coordinate class field trips and prepare students for state assessments.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and student‑centered classroom environment.
• Implement school policies and uphold consistent classroom behavior standards.
