Electronics Product Engineering Lead (Specialist)

About the role

Moog is seeking a Specialist/Lead for AG Electronics Product Engineering to support Military Aircraft Group programs. The role is based onsite in Buffalo, NY and involves leading a small team of product engineers through new product introduction and production phases.

Key responsibilities

• Organize and allocate engineering resources to provide support for production and development programs.
• Lead, mentor, and evaluate a team of Product Engineers, Associate Product Engineers and co‑ops.
• Develop and issue clear production assembly and test instructions, including work instructions, acceptance test procedures, engineering memos and Electronic Historical Record entries.
• Resolve technical issues in assembly and test operations, ensuring product integrity and quality.
• Influence product cost and maintain documentation throughout the product life cycle.

Required profile

• Proven leadership experience in an engineering environment, preferably in electronics or military aerospace.
• Ability to translate broad department goals into detailed tasks and manage multiple priorities.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills across engineering, manufacturing and test functions.
