Electronic Assembler – Production Team

About the role

Moog is seeking an Electronic Assembler to join its production team in Johnson City, TN. The role involves assembling electronic hardware, following detailed engineering drawings, and ensuring high‑quality output in a collaborative environment.

Key responsibilities

• Interpret and work from complex drawings and electronic documentation.
• Perform inspection and test procedures to verify workmanship.
• Verify completed work against engineering drawings and work instructions.
• Troubleshoot hardware issues and recommend disposition.
• Maintain receiving records, job files, and documentation revisions.
• Assist in training and cross‑training of teammates.
• Participate in continuous‑improvement initiatives.
• Solder components, read blueprints, and operate microscopes with minimal supervision.

Required profile

• High school diploma or GED (preferred) and ability to follow written and verbal instructions in English.
• Basic arithmetic skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division).
• Minimum three years experience as a production operator or equivalent.

Required skills

• Soldering electronic components.
• Reading and interpreting blueprints and engineering drawings.
• Operating microscopes for precision work.
• Hardware troubleshooting and problem solving.
• Inspection and testing of assembled units.
• Documentation procedures for manufacturing and quality control.
• Basic math calculations.
