Electrician Apprentice – Install & Maintain Industrial Systems

About the role

Spark Power, a leading North‑American energy contractor, is seeking an Electrician Apprentice to support the installation and maintenance of industrial electrical systems. The role involves travel to various sites and requires strict adherence to safety and code standards.

Key responsibilities

• Install conduit and wiring according to specifications and customer requirements.
• Terminate conductors and install fixtures for industrial applications.
• Troubleshoot and repair circuitry on industrial equipment and systems.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area at all times.
• Prepare for upcoming jobs and coordinate with team members.
• Interact with customers and internal personnel at various levels.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of relevant electrical experience.
• Experience with conduit runs (EMT, GRC, PVC coated, stainless steel) is an asset.
• Man‑lift operation preferred.
• Solid knowledge of the State Electrical Code.
• Valid driver’s license with a good driving record.
• Ability to travel within and outside the state.
• Strong communication and problem‑solving abilities.

• Wire termination.
• Circuit troubleshooting and repair.
• Man‑lift operation.
• Electrical code compliance (State Electrical Code).
• Use of hand and power tools for electrical work.
