Electrical/Systems Engineer

About the role

Applied Materials is seeking an Electrical/Systems Engineer to design, modify, and troubleshoot electrical and electronic assemblies that support advanced semiconductor equipment. The role involves engineering analysis, test reporting, and documentation for product releases while collaborating with cross‑functional teams.

Key responsibilities

• Design or modify electrical/electronic assemblies, layouts, schematics, and drawings of moderate scope under general supervision.
• Perform basic engineering analysis and generate test reports and related documentation for product releases.
• Coordinate procurement and assembly of components, identify sources of critical parts, and resolve technical issues.
• Troubleshoot moderately complex electrical problems and implement solutions of moderate difficulty.
• Assist in developing electrical product specifications and clearly communicate technical information.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 2–4 years of relevant engineering experience.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills to explain complex information.
• Understanding of industry business drivers is preferred.
