Electrical Technician – Refrigeration Systems

About the role

Zero Zone is seeking an Electrical Technician to join its Refrigeration Systems Division in Dyersville, Iowa. Working under the Production Supervisor, you will assemble high‑quality refrigeration equipment using engineered drawings and customer specifications.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate electrical layout according to design documentation and wiring schematics for assigned projects.
• Mount major electrical components such as rack controllers, transformers, auxiliary panels, and variable frequency drives.
• Wire pressure switches, solenoid valves, compressors and other auxiliary devices.
• Conduct electrical inspections to verify compliance with design specifications.
• Collaborate professionally with internal departments, vendors, and customers.
• Operate power and hand tools, perform MIG welding, metal grinding, and handle forklift or crane operations as needed.
• Manage painting, material handling, and general shop upkeep.

Required profile

• Ability to read and interpret engineered drawings and wiring schematics.
• Experience working under supervision in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety standards.
