Electrical Safety Engineer – Norman, OK

About the role

As the Electrical Safety Engineer for Bosch plants in Norman and Wichita, you will lead the implementation and enforcement of safety and environmental requirements, ensuring compliance with plant, corporate, and regulatory standards.

Key responsibilities

• Support equipment assessments according to Bosch internal standards.
• Deliver onsite and online electrical safety trainings.
• Inspect new equipment installations and assist with data entry for one‑line drawing updates.
• Investigate incidents, drive corrective actions, and maintain accurate one‑line drawings.
• Ensure compliance with NFPA70E, OSHA, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001.
• Provide recommendations for electrical safety improvements.

Required profile

• Post‑secondary education in Industrial Mechanics, Electronics, or a related field.
• Knowledge of hand tools, machine tools, troubleshooting, measuring and leveling devices.
• Familiarity with servo, hydraulic, pneumatic and robotic systems.
• Ability to read blueprints, electrical schematics, and industrial electricity standards.
• Understanding of AC/DC circuits, motor wiring, machine wiring safety codes, disconnects, fusing, wire sizing, and PLC control wiring.
