Electrical Engineering Manager

About the role

Moog’s Space & Defense Group is seeking an Electrical Engineering Manager to lead a team of engineers in the design and development of hydraulic, electro‑hydraulic, electro‑mechanical, servo‑mechanism, and electro‑pneumatic components and systems used for testing Moog products. The role combines people leadership with hands‑on technical contribution.

Key responsibilities

• Manage execution of work across multiple concurrent development programs, monitoring progress and providing technical direction.
• Mentor and develop a team of approximately four engineers, handling performance management, career planning and feedback.
• Support new business initiatives through trade studies, concept development, proposal responses and customer presentations.
• Advance product development processes by creating tools, infrastructure and ensuring continuity across teams.
• Participate directly in technical projects, providing expertise in requirements management, system performance modeling and analysis of flight‑control actuation technologies.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading electrical engineering teams in a high‑technology environment.
• Strong background in hydraulic, electro‑hydraulic, electro‑mechanical, servo‑mechanism and electro‑pneumatic system design.
• Ability to manage resources, meet project milestones and drive continuous improvement of engineering processes.
