Electrical Engineer – Vehicle OS

About the role

Applied Intuition is seeking an Electrical Engineer to join its Vehicle OS team. The role focuses on developing compute hardware for next‑generation electric and autonomous vehicles, covering the full product lifecycle from concept through production.

Key responsibilities

• Design electrical schematics for automotive, off‑road, and defense applications, integrating SoCs/MCUs, power supplies, memory components and peripherals.
• Develop board layouts using high‑ and low‑speed digital interfaces (UART, SPI, I2C, USB, PCIe, MIPI, DP, Ethernet) and automotive interfaces (LIN, CAN, Flexray).
• Guide PCB layout, ensuring compliance with DFx standards and constraints on performance, cost, mechanical, thermal and reliability.
• Create detailed component block diagrams and work with PCB/PCBA vendors for fabrication and assembly.
• Collaborate with system, firmware, software and integration teams to bring up and validate the platform.
• Develop and execute test plans to verify design performance and document results.

Required profile

• Electrical engineering background with experience designing compute hardware for vehicle applications.
• Proficiency in schematic and PCB design from concept to production.
