Electrical Engineer – Value Engineering

About the role

Join a global leader in materials engineering to drive cost‑optimized, reliable electrical solutions for semiconductor and display equipment. You will lead value‑engineering initiatives that balance design intent, performance, and supply‑chain considerations.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, analyze, and resolve complex electrical issues with focus on cost reduction, supply resilience, and reliability.
• Lead value‑engineering projects such as cost‑reduction, multi‑sourcing, electrical redesign, and supplier transitions.
• Develop and modify electrical architectures, schematics, PCBAs, harnesses, and power/control systems for high‑performance applications.
• Partner with strategic suppliers to qualify and optimize components, applying DfC, DfM, and DfSC principles.
• Support ECO evaluation, NPI cost convergence, and cross‑functional value‑tracking activities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 7–10 years of experience in electrical engineering, including circuit design, PCB layout, power systems, and grounding/shielding.
• Proven ability to apply Design for Excellence (DfX) for cost and manufacturability.
• Experience working cross‑functionally and interfacing with suppliers on technical solutions.
