Electrical Engineer

About the role

As an Electrical Engineer you will design, modify, and troubleshoot electrical and electronic assemblies, layouts, schematics, and drawings that advance Applied Materials’ cutting‑edge equipment. You will perform engineering analysis, generate test reports, develop innovative solutions, and create documentation for product releases while coordinating component procurement and assembly.

Key responsibilities

• Design or modify electrical/electronic assemblies, layouts, schematics, drawings, or specifications of complex scope.
• Identify and troubleshoot a variety of complex electrical problems with limited supervision.
• Define, coordinate, perform, and generate engineering test reports.
• Lead or execute engineering projects, including development of key suppliers.
• Generate electrical product specifications and review engineering documentation.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 4–7 years of relevant experience.
• Strong knowledge of industry best practices and market drivers.
• Demonstrated leadership skills to lead small projects.
