Electrical Engineer

About the role

Applied Materials is seeking an Electrical Engineer to design, modify and troubleshoot electrical and electronic assemblies that support advanced semiconductor equipment. The role involves engineering analysis, test reporting and documentation for product releases.

Key responsibilities

• Design and modify electrical assemblies, layouts, schematics and specifications of complex scope.
• Identify and troubleshoot a variety of complex electrical problems with limited supervision.
• Define, coordinate and generate engineering test reports and perform detailed engineering analysis.
• Lead or execute engineering projects, develop key supplier relationships and create electrical product specifications.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 4‑7 years of relevant experience.
• Demonstrated leadership skills to lead small projects.
• Strong knowledge of industry best practices and market drivers.

Required skills

• Electrical design and schematic development.
• Complex electrical troubleshooting.
