Electrical Engineer IV – EPI

About the role

Applied Materials seeks an experienced Electrical Engineer IV to design, modify, and troubleshoot complex electrical assemblies that support cutting‑edge semiconductor and display equipment. You will lead technical projects, coordinate component procurement, and generate detailed documentation for product releases.

Key responsibilities

• Technically lead or execute complex electrical engineering projects, including development of key suppliers.
• Identify and troubleshoot a wide range of complex electrical problems.
• Design, specify, or modify electrical assemblies, layouts, schematics, and drawings of complex scope.
• Communicate with internal and external customers regarding electrical issues for specific projects.
• Define, coordinate, perform, and generate engineering test reports.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 7‑10 years of experience in electrical engineering, preferably in semiconductor or display equipment.
• Extensive experience with project management and product development life‑cycle.
• Demonstrated ability to lead moderately complex functional or project teams.

Required skills

• Electrical design and schematic development.
• Troubleshooting complex electrical systems.
• Creation of detailed engineering drawings and layouts.
