Electrical Assembler / Wiring Technician

About the role

Put your skills to work building some of the coolest machines made in Florida – massive rotary drilling rigs used around the world. As an Electrical Assembler / Wiring Technician in Alachua, you’ll wire, troubleshoot, and power up equipment that drives global industries.

Key responsibilities

• Inspect tools before use and maintain electrical equipment and tools.
• Run harnesses in and out of assemblies according to drawings or work instructions.
• Connect and wire components based on BOM and manufacturing systems, including AC systems.
• Execute electrical connections, fasten parts and assemblies per customer specifications (including 24 V).
• Use voltmeters and other tools to troubleshoot and verify system functionality.
• Follow detailed schedules to complete electrical tasks and install special machine options.
• Report electrical issues in the manufacturing system and escalate as needed.
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment in line with company policies.

Required profile

• Able to work in the U.S. on an indefinite basis without sponsorship.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in a manufacturing environment.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Electrical troubleshooting experience preferred.
• Experience with AC system installation and servicing preferred.
• Familiarity with 24 V systems is a plus.
