EHS Training & Development Manager

About the role

TRP Construction Group, a fast‑growing pavement marking and road safety service company, is looking for an EHS Training & Development Manager. You will lead the design, delivery, and evaluation of safety training programs that support a strong safety culture across our construction and field operations.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, implement, and assess EHS training curricula for classroom, virtual, and field‑based delivery.
• Serve as the subject‑matter expert for all EHS learning initiatives, ensuring regulatory compliance and effective knowledge transfer.
• Manage training records, compliance documentation, and Learning Management System (LMS) data.
• Apply adult‑learning principles and instructional design methodologies to create engaging content.
• Coach and mentor supervisors and frontline employees on safety best practices.
• Travel up to 30‑40% to field locations, offices, and operational facilities to conduct training.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of EHS experience in construction, utility, industrial, manufacturing, transportation, or related sectors.
• At least 5 years designing, developing, and delivering safety training programs.
• Experience delivering classroom, virtual, and on‑site training.
• Ability to stand and present for extended periods.
• Eligible to work in the United States.

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and compliance requirements.
• Strong knowledge of DOT compliance requirements.
• Proficiency with Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, and Teams.
• Experience with Learning Management System (LMS) platforms.
• Knowledge of training evaluation and effectiveness measurement.
