EHS Specialist – Process Safety Management

About the role

Join 3M’s global EHS team as an EHS Specialist focused on Process Safety Management. You will work in a laboratory environment, supporting safety culture and ensuring compliance with critical standards.

Key responsibilities

• Promote EHS cultural excellence by addressing incidents, near‑misses, and hazards.
• Lead laboratory EHS programs, emphasizing Life Critical Standards, Process Safety Management, Process Hazard Management, and Management of Change.
• Conduct incident investigations, root‑cause analyses, and high‑hazard process assessments.
• Analyze EHS data, report trends, and recommend corrective actions.
• Provide EHS input for equipment, process, and organizational changes through the Management of Change process.
• Support self‑assessments, audits, and regulatory interpretation for lab safety.

Required profile

• Strong sense of personal responsibility for safety, health, and environment.
• Ability to communicate technical EHS concepts clearly to non‑EHS personnel.
• Experience collaborating with cross‑functional teams and presenting to varied audiences.
