EHS Engineer / Industrial Hygienist

About the role

We are looking for a motivated EHS Engineer / Industrial Hygienist to join our Global Centers of Excellence team in Santa Clara. The role will operate with a high degree of autonomy, leading complex environmental health and safety programs across our semiconductor manufacturing sites worldwide.

Key responsibilities

• Manage global industrial hygiene programs such as respiratory protection, radiation safety, noise control, arsenic handling, indoor air quality, laser safety, and exposure assessments.
• Support hazard evaluations, engineering and administrative controls, and Management of Change (MOC) reviews for new processes and equipment.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA, CAL OSHA, ACGIH TLV, NIOSH, SEMI S2, ANSI and other applicable regulations.
• Lead occupational health initiatives, including injury/illness case management, workers’ compensation improvements, and medical surveillance programs.
• Drive adoption of EHS management systems and digital tools for compliance tracking and performance insights.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Industrial Hygiene, EHS, Occupational Health, Engineering or a related field.
• 3‑5 years of relevant EHS/IH experience, preferably in semiconductor or high‑tech manufacturing.
• Strong analytical, written and oral communication skills and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.

Required skills

• Knowledge of OSHA PEL, CAL OSHA, ACGIH TLV and BEI, NIOSH, SEMI S2, ANSI standards.
• Experience with EHS management systems and digital compliance tools.
• Expertise in industrial hygiene practices and occupational health program development.
