EHS Analyst Co‑Op

About the role

The EHS Analyst Co‑Op will support Johnson & Johnson's Environmental, Health & Safety team in Manatí, PR, by analyzing data, creating reports, and driving continuous improvement initiatives throughout a full‑year term.

Key responsibilities

• Collect, clean, and analyze EHS data to ensure accuracy and completeness.
• Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and visualizations tracking metrics such as Good Saves, Incident Investigations, and CAPAs.
• Identify trends to support proactive safety measures and risk reduction.
• Collaborate with EHS, Operations, and Management to provide data‑driven recommendations.
• Support risk assessment, incident prevention projects, audits, inspections, and compliance activities.
• Review, update, and maintain Job Safety Analyses (JSAs) and ensure they are linked to training curricula.

Required profile

• Completed freshman year at an accredited university.
• Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, Physics, or related technical field.
• Cumulative GPA of 2.8 or higher.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook).
• Knowledge of Power BI for data visualization and reporting.
