Education/Training Specialist III

About the role

The Education/Training Specialist III provides professional clinical services to assess and support children with special needs and their families. Working within a multidisciplinary team, the specialist conducts developmental evaluations, coordinates cases, and delivers training and support groups across the community.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct and interpret developmental evaluations and assessments for children and families.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop, monitor, and adjust individualized plans.
• Provide case coordination, home and school observations, and referrals to community agencies.
• Design, develop, and deliver trainings and support groups for families and professionals.
• Mentor and coach junior staff, including Educational and Training Specialist II.
• Maintain accurate records and review assessment results in line with program requirements.
• Drive to satellite clinics and attend clinical and divisional meetings as needed.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field with at least six years of experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills for effective collaboration with families, schools, and community agencies.
• Ability to work with diverse cultural backgrounds and demonstrate sensitivity.
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel to satellite locations.
• Time‑limited position; background check required.
