Educational Consultant – Non‑STEM (In‑Person)

About the role

Cardinal Education is seeking an in‑person Educational Consultant to work with high‑school students and families in Burlingame, California. The role blends direct academic support in the afternoons with business‑operation activities during the morning.

Key responsibilities

• Provide 1‑on‑1 tutoring and advising for standardized test preparation, school coursework, executive‑function management, passion projects, and confidence/soft‑skill building.
• Assist with sales, recruitment, research & data analysis, curriculum development, marketing, and management tasks based on aptitude.
• Participate in training on teaching pedagogy and business operations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree from an elite, nationally accredited university.
• Strong proficiency in high‑school level Humanities subjects and AP‑level math.
• Exceptional writing ability and proven pedagogical skills for teaching composition.
• Prior tutoring or coaching experience with high‑school students.
• Valid driver’s license and registered vehicle for travel between offices and student homes.
• Willingness to work flexible evenings and one weekend day for eight months of the year.

What we offer

• On‑Target Earnings $85,000‑$115,000+ per year.
• Base salary $70,000‑$75,000.
