Education Specialist – Curriculum Developer – AI Trainer

About the role

Mercor is seeking an Education Specialist who will develop and evaluate curriculum content for consumer AI agents. This remote contract position focuses on ensuring AI‑generated educational material meets high pedagogical standards and is appropriate for learners of various ages.

Key responsibilities

• Review AI‑generated educational content for accuracy, relevance, and pedagogical quality.
• Assess AI tutoring responses to ensure alignment with best practices in teaching and curriculum design.
• Verify that all content is age‑appropriate and complies with professional teaching standards.
• Collaborate with AI research teams to continuously improve the quality of educational outputs.
• Work independently and asynchronously, contributing to the development of AI‑powered education solutions.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a tutor, curriculum developer, or instructional designer.
• Graduate degree in Education or a STEM discipline.
• Strong understanding of effective teaching methods and student learning processes.
