Education Content Manager

About the role

The International Rescue Committee (IRC) seeks an Education Content Manager to ensure high‑quality, pedagogically sound digital content for teachers in crisis‑affected settings. The role focuses on testing, quality assurance, and content development, primarily for the AI‑powered aprendIA program.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct regular testing of digital course flows, chatbot behavior, and AI‑enhanced programming for accuracy, clarity, and cultural appropriateness.
• Maintain QA logs, synthesize findings, and provide prioritized recommendations to developers and senior technical staff.
• Review and quality‑assure teaching and learning materials across Education Technical Unit projects, ensuring alignment with evidence‑based practice.
• Collaborate with government, local partners, and content creators to develop and adapt curriculum‑aligned digital modules.
• Support senior staff in scoping new deployments, needs assessments, and cross‑team innovation initiatives.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in International Education or a related field.
• Experience in digital content QA, instructional design, or education technology, preferably in humanitarian or low‑resource contexts.
• Strong analytical skills to interpret usage data, identify learning gaps, and inform impact evaluation.
