Editor-in-Chief, SEO & AEO Content

About the role

Jerry.ai is looking for an Editor-in-Chief to own the quality and output of its content across the jerry.ai platform and external channels. You will shape the editorial engine that drives organic traffic, AI citations and customer conversion for a fast‑growing insurance and automotive services brand.

Key responsibilities

• Define and execute the content strategy, setting traffic and conversion targets for both SEO and emerging AEO (Answer Engine Optimization) channels.
• Design, implement and continuously improve the brief‑to‑publish workflow that combines LLM prompts, AI drafts, human editing, QA gates and publishing.
• Lead a small team of one direct report, AI agents and a bench of freelancers, ensuring zero‑tolerance accuracy for YMYL finance and insurance content.
• Build and maintain content clusters, answer capsules and FAQ structures that rank on Google and earn citations from AI answer engines such as ChatGPT, Perplexity and Gemini.
• Own the prompt libraries, quality‑drift metrics and policy decisions on what content steps remain human‑controlled.

Required profile

• Proven senior editorial leadership experience, preferably in finance, insurance or other YMYL domains.
• Data‑driven mindset with a track record of linking content performance to customer conversion.
• Comfortable working at the intersection of AI and content, able to evaluate and improve LLM‑generated drafts.
• Strong attention to factual accuracy, sourcing and verification.
