eCommerce Project Manager

About the role

One of our favorite clients in the Bay Area is seeking an experienced eCommerce Project Manager to lead Magento‑based digital commerce initiatives, provide strategy and oversee development teams.

Key responsibilities

• Provide eCommerce strategy, training and analysis on platforms such as Magento.
• Deliver IT strategy, business analysis, requirements gathering, road‑mapping and agile project management.
• Manage application and software development teams, including developers, designers, UX and QA resources.
• Drive revenue growth and expand the client portfolio.
• Create and present weekly status reports and conduct status calls with clients.
• Lead kickoff meetings, manage project scope and change‑request processes.
• Increase SEO value of client websites.
• Act as liaison between customers and the development team.

Required profile

• Self‑starter, decision‑maker with a strong commitment to outperform competition.
• At least 3 years of experience managing large‑scale web development projects for sizable companies.
• Strong organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail.
• Excellent time‑management, interpersonal and negotiation abilities.
• Proven ability to work collaboratively across digital, creative, strategy and account teams.
• Good oral and written communication skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office.
