Early Career Intern - Procurement

About the role

Join Invesco’s Procurement team for a 9‑week summer internship where you will gain hands‑on experience in buying, sourcing, supplier management, analytics, and contract governance. You will work alongside seasoned professionals, contribute to real projects, and develop a solid foundation in corporate procurement.

Key responsibilities

• Support procurement activities across categories, gathering business requirements, supplier information, pricing, and documentation.
• Assist buying and sourcing processes by preparing supplier comparisons, tracking actions, and supporting recommendations.
• Analyze spend, supplier, market, and contract data to identify trends, opportunities, risks, and improvement areas.
• Help with supplier onboarding, governance, and third‑party risk activities, including documentation, due diligence, approvals, and follow‑ups.
• Maintain trackers, dashboards, and reports covering demand, savings, supplier performance, risk, and operational metrics.

Required profile

• Currently pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Business, Finance, Supply Chain, or a related field.
• Strong analytical mindset with an interest in data‑driven decision making.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills for working with internal stakeholders and external suppliers.
• Motivation to identify process‑improvement opportunities and contribute to efficiency initiatives.
