Early Career Field Service Engineer Program

About the role

As a Field Service Engineer (Customer Engineer) you will act as the direct liaison with customers, installing, maintaining and upgrading semiconductor equipment. You will use digital analytics and basic diagnostic techniques to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with senior engineers to install, maintain and upgrade customer equipment.
• Use digital analytics tools to diagnose equipment performance.
• Apply basic diagnostic techniques and perform preventive and corrective maintenance on electrical, vacuum, mechanical, plasma, hydraulic and gas systems.
• Communicate professionally with customers to ensure smooth operations.
• Follow safety, quality and process guidelines while working on‑site.
• Take on additional projects and responsibilities as you develop.

Required profile

• Associate degree, recent graduate, military technical training, trade certification or equivalent hands‑on experience.
• Basic mechanical aptitude and willingness to read electrical and mechanical schematics.
• Ability to diagnose and solve basic technical problems.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to obtain a passport for travel.
