Dump Truck Driver

About the role

Tucker Paving Inc. and Jet Materials are seeking a Licensed Dump Truck Driver to transport dirt, aggregates, asphalt, and equipment safely and on time to multiple job sites. The role combines vehicle operation, routine maintenance, and coordination with dispatch to ensure efficient deliveries.

Key responsibilities

• Drive long distances safely while adhering to traffic laws and company safety protocols.
• Load and unload materials as required at each site.
• Accurately log deliveries, hours worked, and maintain vehicle records.
• Keep the truck clean, refueled, and report any mechanical issues promptly.
• Use GPS to plan optimal routes and ensure timely arrivals.
• Report road incidents, handle accidents according to company procedures, and maintain a positive attitude with customers.
• Maintain an up‑to‑date CDL and attend work regularly.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Required profile

• Class A or B Commercial Driver’s License (CDL).
• Minimum 3 years of professional driving experience.
• Clean driving record and ability to pass a pre‑employment drug test.
• Valid medical certificate.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Availability to work occasional Saturdays.
