Dual-Licensed Spa Therapist (Massage & Esthetics)

About the role

Equinox is hiring dual-licensed massage therapists and estheticians for its spa in Austin, Texas. The spa offers a premium experience with products and techniques such as hot stone therapy and tropical body smoothies. Positions are described as part-time, though the text also says full-time availability is required.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze, consult and perform massage treatments in a professional, comfortable setting, directing all efforts toward member satisfaction
• Perform 25-, 50- and 80-minute deep tissue, sports, prenatal and Swedish massages
• Clean the room after each treatment and at the end of each shift
• Analyze, consult and perform facials and body treatments
• Develop a practice within the corporation while building your own skills and knowledge

Required profile

• Valid Texas massage therapy license or certification
• Valid esthetician license
• Specific training in facial and body waxing
• Willingness to develop a practice within the corporation
• Full-time availability required; evening and weekend availability is a must
• Legal right to work in the United States

Required skills

• Cross-training in multiple services (stone massage, prenatal, craniosacral, point work, amma therapy, shiatsu, aromatherapy, reflexology) highly preferred
• Excellent communication skills and computer literacy
