Drone Maintenance Technician

About the role

Infravision is looking for a Drone Maintenance Technician to ensure our fleet of drones and related air‑system equipment are ready for safe field deployment. This hands‑on position blends mechanical, electrical, and aviation expertise in a fast‑growing startup environment.

Key responsibilities

• Service, inspect, maintain and prepare drone systems for operational readiness.
• Troubleshoot air‑system components including drones, cameras, communications gear and subsystems.
• Lead or assist root‑cause analysis for component failures and recurring technical issues.
• Coordinate with drone pilots to configure and ready equipment for field missions.
• Work with aircraft communications systems (e.g., MESH) to support performance and deployment.
• Track inventory of drones, spare parts, tools, batteries, cameras and communications equipment.

Required profile

• Mechanically inclined with experience across electrical and mechanical systems.
• Comfortable working in field‑technology, aviation or robotics environments.
• Ability to collaborate with pilots, engineers and operations teams.
• Willingness to travel up to 10% and work onsite.

Required skills

• Drone system maintenance and repair.
• Electrical troubleshooting.
• Mechanical assembly and testing.
• Familiarity with communication equipment (e.g., MESH networks).
• Inventory management.
