Driver Warehouse Associate

About the role

We are seeking a motivated Driver/Warehouse Associate to join our fast‑paced HVAC distribution team in Alexandria, Louisiana. The role combines warehouse inventory duties with daily delivery of HVAC equipment and materials to customers and vendors.

Key responsibilities

• Load and unload products from trucks and forklifts.
• Deliver and transport HVAC freight to customer locations.
• Receive, inspect, and stock merchandise, verifying accuracy against orders.
• Pick, verify, and prepare customer orders for shipment.
• Collect signed invoices and return them to the Sales Center Manager.
• Perform daily truck and forklift maintenance checks and report usage.
• Maintain proper use of the OF device and assist with physical inventory counts.
• Read and interpret customer orders, work orders, shipping orders, and requisitions.
• Provide courteous customer service and keep the warehouse and grounds clean and safe.
• Follow all safety protocols and wear required personal protective equipment.

Required profile

• At least 24 months of verifiable experience driving a company pickup truck.
• Ability to meet daily deadlines and multitask in a busy environment.
• Knowledge of LTL and full‑truckload logistics.
• Strong communication skills and a commitment to customer service.
• Must be 21 years of age or older and pass a pre‑employment drug screen and background check.
• High school diploma or GED; 6 months of warehouse experience with forklift operation is preferred.
