Downhole Tool Assistant – Tool Coordination & QAQC

About the role

The Downhole Tool Assistant supports the coordination, performance, QA/QC and execution of Fortress processes for the Downhole Tool product line. You will work directly with customer field representatives to ensure tools are delivered, maintained, and recycled according to strict standards.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate pickup and delivery of Cyclops Setting Tools to customer field locations.
• Wash, tear down, and rebuild Cyclops Setting Tools following Fortress Work Instructions under supervision.
• Report all steps of the Cyclops Recycling Program using iFortress software.
• Ensure all necessary equipment and tools are available and properly maintained.
• Assist with tool delivery and pickup as needed.
• Maintain professionalism, honesty, and integrity in all interactions.
• Perform any other duties assigned by the supervisor.

Required profile

• Experience with downhole tools.
• Self‑motivated, detail‑oriented, and able to work weekends and holidays.
• Strong problem‑solving, interpersonal communication, and operational management abilities.
• Clean driving record; CDL is a plus.
• Ability to lift at least 75 lb and pass drug screening and background checks.

Required skills

• Working knowledge of Windows 10 operating system.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite.
• Experience using Prophet 21 ERP.
• Forklift operation training.
• Proficiency with basic hand tools.
