DOT‑Compliant Driver – Full‑Time

About the role

We are seeking a reliable DOT‑compliant driver to join our Trio‑Community‑Meals team in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. In this full‑time, onsite position you will transport a variety of goods to multiple locations each day, supporting our community‑focused services.

Key responsibilities

• Transport materials to and from assigned destinations safely and efficiently, adhering to all DOT, state and city traffic regulations.
• Perform thorough pre‑ and post‑trip inspections of company vehicles and equipment.
• Maintain clear communication with dispatch, reporting any issues or delays promptly.

Required profile

• Valid state driver’s license for commercial vehicles and/or a medical card from an approved DOT medical examiner.
• Acceptable driving record and strong customer‑service orientation.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and follow instructions.

Required skills

• Knowledge of DOT regulations and safe driving practices.
