Doorman – Guest Services

About the role

Join Sonesta International Hotels as a Doorman, providing a warm welcome and seamless entry experience for guests at our hotel properties. You will be the first point of contact, representing the brand’s hospitality standards and ensuring every guest feels valued from the moment they arrive.

Key responsibilities

• Open doors and greet guests with a smile, using their last name when appropriate.
• Provide accurate directions to local attractions, restaurants, and entertainment venues.
• Assist guests with approved transportation services, such as taxis or limousines.
• Maintain cleanliness and order in the guest services area.
• Collaborate with the Security Department to uphold safety protocols.
• Monitor and communicate hotel layout, meeting rooms, amenities, and parking information.
• Support other hotel departments as needed to ensure smooth operations.

Required profile

• Strong knowledge of local attractions, dining options, and entertainment.
• Excellent customer‑service attitude and ability to stay composed under pressure.
• Familiarity with hotel facilities, meeting rooms, and service offerings.
• Previous experience in a hotel, resort, concierge, doorman, or bell‑staff role is preferred.
