Donor Relations Advisor – Central US

About the role

The Donor Relations Advisor will manage and grow a portfolio of donors across the Central United States, including Iowa, Minnesota, North Dakota and South Dakota. Working within the Constituency Relations (CORE) team, you will create personalized engagement plans that deepen relationships and increase financial support for World Renew’s mission.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute individualized engagement and Moves Management plans for assigned donors.
• Conduct in‑person visits, phone calls, written correspondence and virtual meetings to steward relationships.
• Research donor history, giving patterns and capacity to inform strategies.
• Document all interactions in the Salesforce CRM system.
• Collaborate with Marketing, Communications, Church & Community Engagement, and Transformational Development teams.
• Identify, qualify and cultivate prospective major and planned‑gift donors.
• Prepare proposals, case statements and impact reports tailored to donor interests.
• Promote planned‑giving opportunities and support fundraising campaigns.

Required profile

• Experience managing donor portfolios and executing fundraising strategies.
• Strong ability to build trust‑based relationships with individuals and organizations.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Detail‑oriented with a focus on accurate record‑keeping.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Salesforce CRM.
