About the role
The Division Sales Director – Wine will lead the wine sales team for the greater Denver Front Range, driving volume and profit growth while fostering strong relationships with suppliers, customers, and internal partners. This full‑time position reports to senior leadership and oversees a group of sales managers and representatives.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver annual and monthly volume and profit targets for the wine division.
- Develop and execute a long‑term strategic vision across all assigned channels.
- Maintain the sales division budget and collaborate with Trade Development on program design and evaluation.
- Build and sustain effective relationships with suppliers, buyers, and corporate partners.
- Lead, coach, and motivate direct reports, ensuring clear communication of roles, expectations, and deliverables.
- Implement succession planning, professional development, and talent‑oriented culture initiatives.
- Participate in hiring, staffing, and organizational structure decisions.
- Monitor sales calls, provide actionable feedback, and manage the sales goal‑setting process.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in sales management, preferably within the beverage or wine sector.
- Proven track record of achieving sales growth and managing high‑performing teams.
- Strong analytical, reporting, and multi‑tasking abilities.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a results‑oriented mindset.
Required skills
- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and presentation software.
