Division Controller – CPA (Finance Leadership)

About the role

The Division Controller will lead the financial operations of multiple companies within a fast‑growing fresh‑produce organization. You will ensure accurate reporting, drive budgeting processes, and align financial strategy with overall business goals.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the monthly close process and produce timely, accurate financial statements.
• Develop and enforce policies and procedures to maintain GAAP compliance.
• Prepare and distribute financial statements to senior management.
• Assist in annual budgeting, variance analysis, and forecasting.
• Design and implement internal controls over financial reporting.
• Coordinate external audit reviews and support tax return preparation.
• Supervise accounting staff and oversee day‑to‑day accounting practices.
• Participate in an ERP upgrade project and support treasury functions.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• CPA designation (MBA preferred).
• Minimum eight years of progressive accounting and finance experience.
• Strong analytical, communication, and supervisory skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency with large‑scale ERP software.
• Advanced Microsoft Office Suite skills, especially Excel.
