District Manager

About the role

Insomnia Cookies is looking for a dynamic District Manager to lead 9‑10 stores in the Eastern Burroughs NYC market. You will be responsible for driving sales, ensuring exceptional customer service, and developing high‑performing teams across city and campus locations.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute regional strategies that meet each store’s financial, operational, and customer‑service goals.
• Provide expertise on customer‑service challenges, staffing, store operations, and company policies.
• Collaborate with the Director of Workforce Planning and Store Operations Managers to manage labor effectively.
• Coach and mentor store leaders, fostering diverse, engaged teams.
• Analyze P&L performance and supply‑chain metrics to identify growth opportunities.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of multi‑unit regional management experience in food & beverage, restaurant, hospitality, or retail.
• At least 2 years of leadership in a customer‑service‑oriented environment.
• Proven ability to hire, train, and retain a diverse part‑time hourly workforce.
• Strong organizational, interpersonal, and problem‑solving abilities.

Required skills

• Experience operating baking or commercial kitchen equipment (preferred).
