Dispatcher

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Dispatcher to join our logistics team. In this position you will coordinate loads, work closely with drivers and carriers, and ensure timely freight delivery while adhering to company policies and safety regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Set up loads for customers using outside carriers.
• Monitor and ensure on‑time pickup and delivery performance.
• Coordinate with drivers, carrier drivers, and carrier dispatchers.
• Track carrier en‑route status and resolve any issues that arise.
• Maintain compliance with Federal DOT safety regulations.
• Utilize the Transportation Management System (TMS) once trained.

Required profile

• At least 1 year of experience dispatching trucks.
• Strong computer proficiency, especially with Microsoft Excel for reporting and tracking.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills for interacting with customers, drivers, and management.
• Ability to understand and improve transportation impact on customer service.
• Previous experience in a manufacturing environment is a plus.
