Dishwasher/Porter

About the role

The Maverick Golf and Ranch Club, part of Discovery Land Company, is looking for a reliable Dishwasher/Porter to support its Food & Beverage Culinary Department. You will help keep the dish area organized, assist with kitchen cleanliness, and transport goods across the site while contributing to a premium member experience.

Key responsibilities

• Set up and run the dish area in an organized, clean manner.
• Communicate daily prep and cleaning tasks to the team.
• Deliver goods between sites using the company vehicle while completing daily duties.
• Operate kitchen equipment safely, checking temperatures and appliance performance.
• Peel and chop vegetables as needed.
• Receive deliveries, organize stock, and maintain inventory.
• Assist culinary staff with side work, cleaning, and organization.
• Provide courteous service to culinary and F&B team members.
• Drive and maintain vehicles used for transporting catering materials.

Required profile

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent vocational training (preferred).
• At least 1 year of line/dish experience in a restaurant, luxury resort, or private club.
• Current Texas Food Handler's certificate.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Positive attitude, professional demeanor, and strong communication skills.
• Team‑oriented and able to stay calm during busy periods.
• Proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking English.
