Dishwasher / Steward

About the role

We are seeking a reliable Dishwasher/Steward to support our food & beverage operations at Gozzer Ranch. The role involves maintaining cleanliness, handling dishware, and assisting the kitchen team to ensure smooth service.

Key responsibilities

• Clean dishes, utensils, and kitchen work areas; sweep and remove trash.
• Provide clean cooking utensils and ensure proper storage of all equipment.
• Maintain safety standards, handle chemicals safely, and keep concentration logs.
• Set up china, glassware, and silverware for all outlets daily.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as instructed.
• Monitor inventory levels and conduct regular checks.
• Clean and maintain floors, walls, and dishwashing equipment.
• Report maintenance or hazard issues to the Executive Chef.
• Adhere to all company policies, health, safety, and security standards.

Required profile

• Minimum three months experience in a high‑end restaurant, resort or private club.
• Culinary degree or certification preferred.
• Positive attitude, professional demeanor and strong communication skills.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and holidays; ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lb.
• Fluent in English; additional languages a plus.
