Dishwasher – Full-time Evening Shift

About the role

The Dishwasher supports Dakar NOLA’s kitchen by ensuring all dishes, cookware and surfaces are spotless and organized. Working closely with the Sous Chef and kitchen team, the role is essential to maintaining the high standards of hygiene that underpin the restaurant’s acclaimed West African cuisine.

Key responsibilities

• Operate commercial dishwashing equipment to clean plates, glassware, utensils and cooking tools.
• Maintain a clean and orderly kitchen work‑area, including floors, sinks and storage spaces.
• Follow sanitation protocols and safety guidelines at all times.
• Assist with basic food prep tasks when needed during busy periods.
• Ensure proper inventory of cleaning supplies and report any equipment issues.

Required profile

• At least one year of professional restaurant or kitchen experience.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness.
• Reliability in following directions and maintaining consistent standards.
• Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, collaborative kitchen environment.
• High attendance and punctuality, with a positive attitude under pressure.
